Pat Simpson

Meet Pat Simpson, MS, LCPC, C-IAYT, CYT.

I am Pat Simpson, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) licensed through the Maryland Board of  Counselors and Therapists.  I have over twenty years of experience as a mental health professional. I graduated with both the 200 and 500 hour Golden Heart Yoga (Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School) Teacher’s Training.  I am also a graduate of the American Viniyoga Institute 500 hour advanced training program and the Viniyoga Therapist Program (CYT). I am certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). I am a Yoga Alliance registered teacher (#47593), the preeminent organizing system is the United States that assures the public that Yoga teachers are properly trained, have a standard of practice, and a code of conduct. I am a certified Life Force Yoga Practitioner, Level I through Amy Weintraub, notable Yoga teacher in the field of Yoga for depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, brain injury, grief and loss.  I have studied with Anodrea Judith, Ph.D. and Glen Hartelius, Ph.D., both highly skilled and effective healing practitioners utilizing the Chakra energy system for healing the mind, body, and spirit. I am trained through the Warrior at Ease Program to work with active and non-active,  injured, and veteran members of the military. I  practice as a Yoga Therapist with The Pinnacle Center. I own and operate a private practice, Heart Path Yoga, LLC, teaching individual and group Yoga classes and conduct individual counseling.
